Jefferson Township’s annual town-wide volunteer spring cleanup day will be held on Saturday, April 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Volunteers are needed to help pick up litter and trash along roads, in parks, on trails or on our various athletic fields. Anyone interested, should call Patty Romano at 973-208-3639 to register.
A light breakfast will be available at the DPW Offices prior to the clean up. Supplies (bags, gloves, and safety vests) will also be provided to all volunteers the day of the cleanup.
If you are unable to volunteer that day but are willing to help clean up some of Jefferson’s roads or wooded areas that are scattered with water bottles and trash, contact Patty Romano at 973-208-3639 and arrangements will be made to assist you.
