Help Our Preservation Effort in Hope is working on restoration of two Moravian Era houses in the Village historic district.
As a fund raiser, a traditional St. Patrick’s Day corned beef and cabbage dinner will be served on Saturday, March 14, with servings from 5 to 7 p.m. in the historic Community Center, 5 Walnut Street.
The Crusen and Cooper houses, will join other buildings in the National Register District, including First Hope Bank, The Long House, the Inn at Millrace Pond, the Moravian Distillery, and the American House. The dinner will feature live music from soprano Maggie Morokutti and a 50/50 event.
Pre-sales are encouraged. Single tickets are $30. Tickets are available at Hope Junction Antiques.
