All are invited to this free event celebrating the restoration of Roxbury’s Morris Canal Inclined Plane 2E in Ledgewood. Learn about Roxbury’s rich history and take a short hike on the inclined plane that was built in the 1820’s. Several new interpretive signs will be "unveiled". After touring the inclined plane, make your way to Main Street to tour the 3 museums (King House, King Store and Riggs Saltbox House) which will be open after the Inclined Plane 2E event. It will also be open the next day, Sunday, May 4th during the Pathways of History tours!
