The Jefferson Township Community Chorus under the direction of James Wynne will perform their FREE spring concert – The Musical World of Walt Disney - at Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church in Lake Hopatcong on Sunday, May 17 at 4 pm.
The church is located at 237 Espanong Road in Lake Hopatcong, and admission is free but free-will donations are welcomed. This concert is sure to be a hit with concert-goers of all generations, especially the children, who will, undoubtedly, like to sing along with many of the songs. Children are more than welcome to wear their Disney outfits, bring their Disney dolls/stuffed animals, etc.
The performance will feature a cavalcade of songs made famous through the films and animations of the Disney Corporation, including many classic Disney hits. The performance will also feature music that was made popular through Disney's acquisition of Pixar. Enjoy the beautiful musical program which includes “When You Wish Upon a Star” from Pinocchio, “Part of Your World” from The Little Mermaid, and “I See the Light” from Tangled to name a few as well as a medley of villain-related songs!
There will be many others sung beautifully by the talented chorus members that you will enjoy as well.
