Boating Safety Course- Saturday 03/21/2026 provided by a US Coast Guard and NJ State Police approved Boating Safety/Certification Course provider.
All their instructors are USCG and NJ State Police certified. US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 15-10 Lake Hopatcong is offering the course and exam to obtain your NJ Boating Safety License (NJ BSC) to operate a Power Boat/PWC (Jet Ski) legally on NJ waterways on Saturday March 21st.
Where: Hopatcong Senior Center, 32 Lakeside Blvd Hopatcong, NJ 07843
When: March 21, 8am to 5pm with check in at 7:30 am.
Cost:The student fee for $75 paid in advance or $80 if paid on the day of the class. All course materials and the final exam are included
Upon completion of the course and passing the exam, students will receive their NJ BSC, a lifetime Boating Safety Certificate issued by the NJ State Police Marine Services Division

The Coast Guard Auxiliary is the unpaid, all-volunteer, not-for-profit extension of the uniformed United Sates Coast Guard. Obtaining your Boating License through the Auxiliary helps support their Youth and Sea-scout Programs, enables boating safety initiatives, subsidizes their ability to perform voluntary vessel inspections, provide marine safety and environmental education and so much more.
