Narrow Leaved Mountain Mint (Pycnanthemum tenuifolium)

A narrow-leaved species of mountain mint with an upright habit reaching up to 3 feet tall and growing about 2 feet wide. Blooms are small white clusters that attract a wide variety of animals. Mountain mint is a favorite for native bee species, as well as butterflies. It has a minty aroma when the leaves are crushed.

Historically, it was used by some Native American tribes as a remedy for colds, fevers, and general pain.
