A special Halsey Island cocktail party with Miss Lotta crossing

August 27, 2020| Events, Fundraising

By: Roberta Schmidt

We have a special opportunity to join a small gathering for a cocktail party and concert on Halsey Island with transportation on the MissLotta! The evening is scheduled for September 27, 2020 (rain date to be determined).

This unique experience was generously donated by Live the Lake NJ and Maribyrd for our virtual auction in July. As about a dozen tickets have opened up, we are offering it to our readers for a limited time!

The experience

Hop on the Miss Lotta and head over to #54 on Halsey Island to spend a lovely Sunday afternoon enjoying the stunning home and surroundings that rest on the land of the former summer cottage known as Cedar Crest, where famous painter and author Eric Sloane grew up.

Enjoy cocktails and plated hors d'oeuvres along with live entertainment by one of our favorite singer/songwriters, Maribyrd, who was born and raised in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains of northern New Jersey.

Safety

Transportation will take place on the upper deck of the Miss Lotta and there is plenty of room on the island for social distancing. Masks will be required.

Tickets

Tickets for this memorable experience are $100 each and limited seats remain! Please call 973-663-2500 or email roberta@lakehopatcongfoundation.org to check current availability and reserve your spot. Payment can be made by check or credit card.
