Block Party Parking Made Easy

April 15, 2026| Community, Events

By: Kari Constantine

The Lake Hopatcong Block Party is right around the corner, and once again, we’re getting ready to welcome thousands of visitors for a full day of lakeside fun, great food, and community connection. To help you spend less time worrying about logistics and more time enjoying the celebration, we’ve made getting to and from Hopatcong State Park on Saturday, May 16, easier than ever.

Skip the Stress, Ride the Free Shuttle

Our complimentary shuttle service remains the easiest and most convenient way to access the Block Party. With multiple offsite parking locations available, you can park for free and hop on a shuttle that will bring you directly to Hopatcong State Park.

Shuttles will run continuously throughout the day, so whether you arrive early or later in the afternoon, you can count on a smooth, reliable ride. It’s the perfect solution for families, groups, and anyone who prefers a hassle-free arrival.

Onsite Parking Option

If you prefer to park at the event, limited onsite parking will be available at Hopatcong State Park for a $10 donation per vehicle. Spaces tend to fill quickly, so we recommend arriving early if this is your plan. Gates will open to guests at 9:45 am on the day of the event.

Accessible Parking & Shuttle Service

We are committed to making the Block Party accessible for all guests. A limited number of accessible parking spaces will be available onsite for the same $10 donation. If those spaces fill up, accessible shuttle options will be running from each of the offsite parking areas, ensuring everyone can comfortably enjoy the event.

Bringing Your Dog?

Dogs are welcome at the Block Party, but they are not permitted on the shuttle buses. A convenient “barking lot” will be available within walking distance of Hopatcong State Park, making it easy to bring your pet along if you plan accordingly. You may also park onsite with your dog if space is available.
