Come meet the safety officials who keep our lake community safe

July 27, 2021| Safety

By: Lake Hopatcong Foundation

We hope you will join us for a Lake Hopatcong safety meet and greet this Wednesday, August 4, from 5 - 8 pm, at the Lake Hopatcong Foundation Environmental & Cultural Center, 125 Landing Road, Landing.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the community (young and old!) to meet with the officials who protect Lake Hopatcong and learn about ways to stay safe while on and around the water. Along with the meet and greet, the Jefferson Township Fire Company #2 fire truck will be on hand along with additional emergency response vehicles from other agencies!

Representatives will be available from the following:

  • New Jersey State Police Marine Bureau
  • Morris County Sherriff's Office
  • New Jersey State Park Police
  • Morris County Park Police
  • The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary
  • Hopatcong, Jefferson, Mount Arlington, and Roxbury Police Departments
  • Hopatcong, Jefferson, Mount Arlington, and Roxbury Fire Departments

This event is free and open to the public. Hope to see you there!
