New Jersey Fish and Wildlife is offering a fall Free Fishing Day on October 19, 2024. On this day, residents may fish on the Garden State’s public waters without a license or trout stamp. All other regulations, including size and daily catch limits, remain in effect.
This is the perfect chance to introduce a friend or family member to fishing or to take the whole family out for a day of outdoor fun for free! Though youth under the age of 16 don’t need a license to fish, Free Fishing Days allow adults to join in the fun for a day without having to purchase a license.
