As snow threatens the greater tri-state area, we’re here to warm you up with thoughts of the 2026 Lake Hopatcong Block Party, our annual event at Hopatcong State Park that brings visitors together with local businesses, organizations, craft, and food vendors for a day to celebrate New Jersey’s largest lake. Here are four great reasons your business should sponsor this summer season kick-off event on May 16:
1) A chance to connect with the community: we welcomed over 4,000 people to Hopatcong State Park for last year’s Lake Hopatcong Block Party, and we’re expecting thousands again this year. Sponsors at all levels are given the opportunity to host an outreach table to share their message with Block Party guests.
2) A way to engage and interact: each sponsor is advertised as part of our Passport Adventure Program, which encourages guests to stop by your booth in order to receive a stamp on their passport and potentially win a prize. Depending on your level of sponsorship, you can even be a required stop!
3) Be recognized: all sponsors receive recognition on our website and on our sponsor banner. Higher level sponsors are also recognized in our e-newsletter and on social media, have their name announced at the event, are included in additional signage, the volunteer t-shirt, and more.
4) An opportunity to give back: thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, the Lake Hopatcong Block Party remains free to the public, is packed with family-friendly activities like free boat rides and a scavenger hunt, and serves as a day to come together as one neighborhood. It’s part of our organization’s vision of a vibrant, healthy lake and surrounding community, and it only happens with sponsor support!
