Join us for a guided hike to Liffy Island with Mayor Wilsusen

May 20, 2021| Events, Recreation

By: Donna Macalle-Holly

In celebration of National Trails Day, we will be hosting a two-hour hike along the Lake Hopatcong and James Leach Boardwalk Trails to Liffy Island in Jefferson.  Guided by Jefferson Mayor Eric Wilsusen, the moderately difficult hike open to all ages will provide an overview on the preservation of the Prospect Point Preserve and the building of the recently constructed footbridge to Liffy Island as well as some history on the island.

Sunday, June 6, noon - 2 pm
