We are thrilled to announce that registration is now open for our annual Lake Loop event, presented by the Lake Hopatcong Foundation, in partnership with Cycle Craft and Ramsey Outdoor. Mark your calendars for October 6, 2024, and join us for a day of outdoor fun and community spirit! Secure your spot today and take advantage of our early bird pricing and guarantee your exclusive Lake Loop t-shirt, a badge of honor for our 2024 participants.
Participants can select from three exhilarating activities:
Bike: Ride through picturesque landscapes on your choice of a 62-, 40-, or 20-mile route, designed to showcase the beauty of Lake Hopatcong and surrounding towns.
Hike: Explore the scenic trails of Hopatcong State Park on an interactive hike, immersing yourself in nature while contributing to a healthier lake community. We’re hoping longtime Loopers will enjoy this update, which will replace our former 5K trail run.
Paddle: Embark on a 2.5-mile paddle to “Bertrand Island and back”, enjoying the tranquility of Lake Hopatcong from a unique perspective.
All activities culminate at Hopatcong State Park, where participants will be treated to a festive finish line party. Enjoy complimentary food, refreshments, live music, and a chance to win prizes for top fundraisers, all while celebrating your achievement with fellow Lake Loopers.
Participating in the Lake Loop isn't just about completing the course—it's about making a meaningful impact for a healthy Lake Hopatcong. Although additional fundraising isn't required, it does come with rewards. Prizes await the top fundraising individual and team, so we invite you to personalize your fundraising page, which is automatically created for you during registration. Share your story of why you're cycling, hiking, or paddling, and let's work together to support a vibrant and healthy Lake Hopatcong!
Beyond the thrill of the challenge, the Lake Loop is a vital fundraiser supporting the Lake Hopatcong Foundation’s environmental, educational, community, and advocacy efforts. Your contribution will have a lasting impact on New Jersey’s largest lake and surrounding community!
