Marty Kane to receive Morris County Lifetime Achievement Award

July 25, 2023| Community, People

By: Lake Hopatcong Foundation

We are thrilled to extend our heartfelt congratulations to our Board Chair, Marty Kane, who will be honored with a Morris County Lifetime Achievement Award at the 26th annual Patriots’ Path Council Boy Scouts of America awards dinner, scheduled for Wednesday, September 13, at the Hanover Manor in East Hanover.

The Patriots’ Path Council of the Boy Scouts of America serves more than 10,500 youth from Middlesex, Morris, Somerset, Sussex, and Union Counties, providing them with the opportunity to learn more about themselves and the world around them and giving them the skills they need to succeed at every stage of their lives.

The Morris County Lifetime Achievement Award is bestowed upon individuals who exemplify the ideals of the Boy Scouts of America in their daily lives. Honorees are chosen for their outstanding community service as well as the respect and esteem in which they are held by their colleagues.

Marty will be honored alongside County College of Morris President Dr. Anthony Iacono, Morris County Sheriff's Office Undersheriff Mark Spitzer, and Morris Habitat for Humanity Ret. Chief Executive Officer Blair Schleicher Wilson.

We extend our sincere appreciation and congratulations to all the honorees. Marty, your dedication and commitment to our community have left an indelible mark, and we applaud you for this well-deserved honor!
