More volunteers honored!

December 26, 2023| Community, People

By: Holly Odgers

Two weeks ago, we acknowledged three exceptional LHF volunteers who were recognized for their contributions to the community, and today, we are pleased to share two more amazing acknowledgments that were announced last week!

Big congratulations to Gay Ann Bucci and Marty Kane for being recognized as a 2023 Hero by Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill. The 2023 Heroes program recognizes community members who have made a difference in NJ District 11 over the past year. You can read more about their contributions and find a full list of honorees HERE.

Acknowledging their contributions not only highlights their individual efforts but also emphasizes the collective spirit of all volunteers who selflessly give their time and skills. In 2023 alone, volunteers clocked an astonishing 5,389 hours of service to the Lake Hopatcong Foundation. Their efforts remain integral to fostering a vibrant and healthy lake and community, and our accomplishments stand as a testament to their invaluable support.

It's truly inspiring to witness the incredible dedication and contributions of volunteers like Gay Ann Bucci and Marty Kane. Their commitment to serving the community and our lake is commendable. So, three cheers to Marty, Gay Ann, and all the volunteers who continue to make a meaningful impact in so many ways!
