Andrew Dollberg at Lake Hopatcong

Welcome, Andrew!

September 04, 2024| People

By: Holly Odgers

We’re excited to introduce Andrew Dollberg as the newest member of the Lake Hopatcong Foundation team, joining us as our very first communications intern. Andrew isn’t your typical intern—having already completed his education, he’s now exploring a career shift into nonprofit communications, and we’re fortunate to have him on board.

Andrew comes to us with a strong academic background, holding degrees in English Literature and German Language from Montclair State University. He started his career in education, teaching English as a Second Language to students in grades 6-12 in Austria. Andrew's connection to Lake Hopatcong runs deep, dating back to childhood days spent fishing on boats his family rented, and he even worked at Flash Marina one summer.

In just a few weeks, Andrew has already proven to be a valuable asset, contributing to the editing and writing of our news articles and assembling our weekly e-newsletter. His strong writing skills, attention to detail, and enthusiasm have made a great impression on our team.

We’re delighted to have Andrew with us through the end of the year, and we’re excited to see the impact he’ll continue to make. If you happen to stop by our office or see him at an upcoming event, please take a moment to say hello.

Welcome, Andrew!
