Welcoming Patrick Krudop to the team

May 03, 2024| Education, People

By: Kyle Richter

We are excited to welcome Patrick Krudop to the Lake Hopatcong Foundation team as our Education and Outreach Coordinator!

Patrick earned two Bachelor of Science degrees in Geoscience and Environmental Biology from Kean University and Kean Skylands in 2023. While Patrick is new to this role, he previously worked with us as a lead educator on our Floating Classroom for our educational field trips and public eco cruises. Most recently, Patrick served as a relief keeper at Turtleback Zoo, managing various interactive experiences throughout the zoo.

In this new role, Patrick is eager to put his passion for education and environmental science to use by helping to plan and organize our spring field trip program and summer public cruises on the Floating Classroom, launch our high school field trip program this fall, and increase our outreach to the lake community and beyond.

In his spare time, Patrick enjoys spending time in nature and teaching karate at the Rockaway Karate Academy.

Welcome aboard, Patrick!
