We’ve Got a Spot for You: Parking at the Block Party

April 29, 2025| Community, Events

By: Kari Constantine

The Lake Hopatcong Block Party has become one of the most highly anticipated lakeside events in the region, drawing thousands to Hopatcong State Park. It's the perfect opportunity to connect with local businesses, enjoy delicious food and lively entertainment, and take part in free, family-friendly activities. To make your arrival as smooth as possible, here are some tips for parking and arriving to the event.

We suggest utilizing our free shuttle service from one of the six offsite parking locations listed below (see map for details). Shuttles will be running all day to ensure you can enjoy the event without the hassle of parking.

Onsite parking is available at Hopatcong State Park for a $10 donation per vehicle, space permitting.

Handicap-Accessible Parking

There are 36 handicap-accessible parking spots available at Hopatcong State Park, with the same $10 donation required. If all onsite parking (including accessible spaces) is full, we also provide handicap-accessible shuttles from the offsite lots. These shuttles will be clearly marked.

Bringing Your Dog?

While dogs are not allowed on the shuttles, we’ve got you covered with a “barking lot” at Full Life Christian Fellowship Church, located near the intersection of Brooklyn-Stanhope Road and Lakeside Blvd. The lot is within walking distance to the park (just be sure to cross at the light!). You’re also welcome to park onsite with your pet, as long as space is available.

All Parking Options

Below is a list of all parking options for the 2025 Block Party. A parking lot and shuttle map is included at the bottom of this page.

  1. Hopatcong State Park – $10 Donation – 260 Lakeside Blvd, Landing

  2. Hopatcong Senior Center – Free – 32 Lakeside Blvd, Hopatcong (shuttle service provided)

  3. Wayne Threlkeld Athletic Fields – Free – 28 Lakeside Blvd, Hopatcong (shuttle service provided)

  4. 12 Orben Drive – Free – Landing, NJ (shuttle service provided)

  5. Landing Park Recreation Complex – Free – 165 Landing Rd, Landing (shuttle service provided)

  6. Landing Shopping Center – Free – 175 Lakeside Blvd, Landing (shuttle service provided)

  7. Barking Lot at Full Life Christian Fellowship Church – Free (For Guests with Dogs) – 7 Brooklyn-Stanhope Rd, Stanhope

For those eager to park onsite at Hopatcong State Park, please note that gates open at 9:45 am to allow for safe vendor setup. We ask for your patience as you arrive, and we encourage everyone to drive carefully around the park to ensure the safety of all event-goers.

A huge thank you to our parking and shuttle partners for making the Block Party easily accessible to all. We also want to express our gratitude to the Roxbury Police Department, New Jersey State Park Police, and all the volunteers who help with traffic control and safety. We can’t wait to see you at the Block Party—it's sure to be an amazing event!
