Our annual gala and auction is more than a festive and fun celebration – it’s our most critical fundraiser, bringing in funds needed to support programs and projects that keep Lake Hopatcong healthy – like our Lake-Friendly Living Program, which educates homeowners on simple property improvements that help protect our lake.
The Lake-Friendly Living Program relies on survey participation, informing participants if they are living lake-friendly and providing resources for those who want to improve their score. Those who are living lake-friendly receive a sign to proudly display on their property.
To sweeten the deal, we promised to raffle off two free tickets to our Sunset Soirée gala on July 16, as well as 4 seats on an upcoming summer eco-cruise, among the first ten survey participants who earned a lake-friendly living sign - and we are excited to announce the winners!
Rory Scanlan will join us at our Sunset Soirée gala, and Robin Marlowe will have her pick of any of our summer eco-cruises! We congratulate them and thank everyone who has completed the Lake-Friendly Living Survey to date. We’re thrilled that we have received an overwhelming response to the program, and we are working diligently to craft individualized responses for those who took the time to participate, as well as coordinate signs for lake-friendly properties. Thank you all for your patience. You’ll be hearing from us soon!
Hoping to attend our Sunset Soiree on Thursday, July 16? Less than half of tickets remain, and we expect them to go fast, so don’t wait to get yours! And remember, those who purchase a Gala Duo ticket package will receive special recognition and golden drink tickets. Sponsors receive even more acknowledgments, and anyone can participate in our digital ad journal, online auction, and Split the Pot raffle, even those who cannot attend!
We encourage everyone to check out our gala and auction, our eco cruises, and our Lake-Friendly Living Program. These are three great ways to engage, support, and learn more about Lake Hopatcong and efforts to keep it healthy and vibrant!
