May is here, which means the return of our fourth-grade field trips, the annual Lake Hopatcong Block Party (our largest lakeside event), our shrink wrap recycling public drop-off day, the always-popular native plant sale, and so, so much more!

It also means there are only two months left for us to rack up as many votes as possible through the Target Circle Program. The more votes we get, the larger the donation we receive from Target when voting ends on June 30. Here’s how you can help: 1) Become a Target Circle Member by signing up via their website, downloading the Target app, or visiting your local Target. It’s free, and by joining, you access coupons and deals.

2) Shop at Target! Need a Mother’s Day gift? A birthday card? Groceries? Toiletries? A pack of gum? No matter how big or small your purchase, or whether you shop in-store or arrange delivery, every eligible transaction = 1 vote!

3) After shopping, navigate via the web or the app (or at check-out using your phone number) to: “My Target,” then “Circle Benefits,” then “Community Support Votes,” and cast your vote for the Lake Hopatcong Foundation!

That’s it! It’s that simple! Your vote could translate into hundreds or even thousands of dollars donated to us. Just by shopping for things you need, you’re helping secure funds to maintain and grow a whole host of programs and initiatives, like the much-anticipated ones returning this May!
